Welcome and thank you for visiting my site!
I have always had a passion for quality sound and working with people who
are passionate about their projects. My entire life has revolved around music
and any aspect of audio I can get my hands on. After my initial education in audio, I started working as Head Engineer in a small recording studio in Geneva, NY. This started the progression to working in multiple different venues doing live sound, one of which I spent many years with as Technical Director. On top of the live sound work I fill in the rest of my schedule doing freelance audio work out of my private 5.1 mixing studio, creating large studio sound without the associated overhead and costs.
The world of audio technology has always interested me. This interest lead me to also work in AV Integration, helping people install and service professional AV systems for recording studios, theaters, auditoriums, board rooms, and much more. I am a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) issued through AVIXA and have many other certifications through companies such as QSC, Biamp, and Extron to name a few.
I work in an acoustically treated space with a calibrated JBL 5.1 surround sound setup. My main speakers use Room Mode Correction to ensure my monitoring system is accurate and will translate to other systems. Below I have listed a few of the brands used in my space...
